I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Rochester.  I am also on the advisory committee of the W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy, and an affiliate at the University of Rochester Democracy Center. 
I study empirical political economy in developing democracies, focusing on Brazil.
